Process to Establish a Wifi Connection on Your Canon Printer
Wireless LAN Setup: Press the Power button to switch on the printer and begin the network configuration process. The Power LED light must be solid green and stable.
The Network Settings screen will appear after pressing the Menu button.
There are several options for creating a link here. A pop-up box will appear on your printer screen when you select Wireless LAN Settings. Tap OK.
Select the SSID Settings option, then the Access Point option. Select your preferred network name and enter the Wifi security key without error.
Hold on until the printer says Connected on the screen. Then press OK.
WPS Push Button: Press the Wifi button located on the printer's operational panel to establish a successful network connection. Go to your router and look for the WPS button. Press the WPS button twice in a two-minute interval. The printer status will now be Connecting, and you will need to wait a few moments. Complete the configuration by selecting OK once the printer screen displays the Connected Status.
